Today you visit the Corcovado Mountain and Sugar Loaf with lunch at Carretão Ipanema. Proceed to visit the Corcovado Mountain; it towers over the vibrant Brazilian city of Rio de Janeiro. Originally, the mountain was called Pinaculo da Tentacao, which translates to Pinnacle of Temptation’. The Corcovado Mountain is situated within the Tijuca Forest National Park, enjoying a degree of protection. It is 2 300 feet (or just over 700 metres) high. However, this mountain is notable, not only for its natural beauty and prime positioning, but also because it is the foothold of the globally recognized statue called Christ the Redeemer. This statue is 100 feet (or 30 metres) high and depicts Jesus Christ standing over the city of Rio de Janeiro with his arms outstretched. Natural Monument, created in 2006. Morning we will proceed to visit Sugar Loaf. Sugarloaf Mountain is a peak situated in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, at the mouth of Guanabara Bay on a peninsula that juts out into the Atlantic Ocean. Rising 396 m (1,299 ft) above the harbor, its name is said to refer to its resemblance to the traditional shape of concentrated refined loaf sugar. It is known worldwide for its cableway and panoramic views of the city. The mountain is one of several monolithic granite and quartz mountains that rise straight from the water's edge around Rio de Janeiro. The mountain is protected by the Sugarloaf Mountain and Urca Hill.
We will proceed to the airport for flight to Iguassu. Foz do Iguaçu, land of the Iguaçu Falls, elected one of the 7 wonders of nature, with countless natural attractions, which welcomes and delights visitors from all over the world. Iguassu falls are on the Iguasu River bordering Brazil and Argentina & shortly downstream is border with Paraguay. On arrival at Iguassu, transfer to your accommodation with breakfast. Today you have tour of Brazilin side of the falls which you can explore with the walkways built facing the waterfall. After the walking tour you will visit the Bird Park. This is one of the largest aviaries in the world. Then proceed for Macuco boat safari which takes you for a zip under the falls!! This is one of the most thrilling experiences. Take lunch at Porto Canoas Restaurant and then proceed for a 10-minute helicopter ride.
